A pretty average motel, just on the outskirts of Yellowstone.

We had a king size room for 2 nights as we toured the park. Cost was just over $200 USD a night. The room included a small fridge, microwave oven and cable TV.

There was no coffee maker, and no kettle to boil water. If there is one thing I want to start my day it's a cup of coffee!

Also the rooms are pretty small with lean-to roof that a guy my height also needed to crouch for.

The shower and bathroom is pretty pokey. As in very small compared to others we've stayed at over the years and the value for running a shower had a leak so very low water flow. The water temperature was also on the cool side.

The cable TV also had a good selection of channels.

Overall pretty average and given the price they're charging, the owners could at least buy coffee makers or kettles for the rooms.

Thank for your review, Terence G!

I can't find a Terence in our system so I am unable to locate your reservation. However, we have not had any complaints in person about a leaky shower and have not had to fix any leaky valves in the remodeled rooms We also do not have rooms any rooms that are over or even at $200 a night this year. Our remodeled rooms are brand new with standard height ceilings.

We're sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us.

Kind Regards,
Hadleys Motel and Cabins

The bed is great and very comfortable. Room is ok. Shower needs a little bit of more pressure for my taste. Bad thing is that there is always only one chair but room was for two!!! If you have a microwave and a fridge but you do not have knives nor forks nor plates...what are they for?

Hi lbernad,

Thank you for your review!

Our microwaves are for our guests convenience to re-heat leftovers they have brought with them or purchased the day before. It is not a kitchenette, but way to add value to our guests stay by being able to save dinner from the night before, lunch from earlier in the day, snacks they packed with them or something from the grocery store. Some of our guests have been hiking or fishing all day and need to prepare a hot compress. Some have a baby bottle they would like to warm or a drink for themselves. We will not be providing utensils or paper goods to use but we will keep the microwaves in the rooms as a convenience for these guests.

We hope you enjoyed your travels,

Found this hotel by manually searching motels in google maps. At first, the website was amazing and easy to book. However, the rooms were smaller than an average dorm room. It was so tiny that two people cannot walk at the same time. Moreover, the unit we found for cheap did not have AC. They gave a small table fan which did not help either. Even though it gets cold at night, the days are pretty warm and it was irresponsible from the owner's part to have such a mediocre arrangement for the price we paid. I would much rather stay an hour away and drive to Yellowstone than this tourist-laden spot. I would not recommend this motel ever.

Room Tip: dont stay here

Hi Sp435,

You chose to book our DISCOUNT QUEEN room which is literally described as "...outdated, very small..." and not having A/C. Having all this information upfront, at the time of booking, and still choosing to book this room with us means you saw value in something. I would assume that the value you saw was the price, which the main reason people books these rooms. You paid about $100 per night in July which is so far below to the next lowest price room in the whole town. You cannot find rooms remotely close to this price in July here. We had completely remodeled Queen rooms on our property but are listed for $179 which you chose not to book. It is the guests responsibility to decide when travelling what is most important for them. Is it price? You most likely will be sacrificing in the amenities. Is it amenities? You will be sacrificing price. There are so many options in West Yellowstone that almost everyone can find their right hotel fit. We are sorry you did not find your fit with us.

We stayed in a room and in a cabin. The beds were comfy. People who work there are very nice, helpful and friendly. We felt welcomed. Room was newer and the cabin had a rustic feel, which was ok with us.
Both places had a mini-fridge and a fan.
Cons: cabin was a little dusty + some spiderwebs.
We liked our experience and would stay there again.

Hi Ola m,

Thank you for your review of our property!

Our cabins were placed on this property almost 70 years ago and were built years before that! We are planning the cabin renovation this winter as we have just taken this property over and the dust and cobwebs shall be gone forever!

Kind Regards,

We were on a long road trip, so we were trying to stay cheap to save money. We found Hadley's Motel online, and the price was only $100 per night, which is very cheap for this area. The rooms are old and outdated, but they were clean. It's only about a block from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, so it's very convenient. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator. The wifi was slow, but it worked.
