We traveled with another couple and the motel accommodatd our needs of adjoining rooms easily. Between us we had 3 full sized collies, and it was "no problem". Door to the outside on the ground floor were awesome, quiet, and within walking distance of all amenities. We actually stayed an extra nite! The pool, spa and sauna were a welcome surprise and very clean. Will definitely stay again, but longer!

Room Tip: Ground floor has individual outside doors, awesome!!!

I made a weekend winter trip to Yellowstone National Park for a snowcoach tour with Yellowstone Alpen Guides. Friends had stayed at the Kelly Inn, and I was pleased with the accommodation. Rates are less in winter than the summer high season. Every room had two queen beds, spotless, with microwave and fridge. My room faced north, and that evening outside a sled dog team bedded down for the night in the accompanying van. It was fun to look out and see the trainer feeding each dog after their day of running!

Breakfast is the usual complimentary cereal/bagel,juice. I never know why people complain about these forgettable breakfasts at hotels. They are free, and a bargain for families. There are always restaurants if you want to pay. Fortunately, there is a MacDonalds a few steps from the Kelly Inn, if you want to bring a burger and fries back for dinner. I opted for frozen Healthy Choice Steamers from the local market. Nice to be in the room and microwave a quick dinner.

A good place for the solo traveller, like myself, or for the family down to Yellowstone for a winter snowmobile or snowcoach tour. Remember this is winter, much of West Yellowstone town is quiet with some places closed. Streets covered with snow, lots of snowmobiles driving around town. Be sure to bring Yak Trax gripping slip- ons for your shoes, it is very icy.

Room Tip: upstairs room, north side looks to the town. There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi on main floor, also a small fitness room.

Thanks for coming all the way from Virginia to stay with us. That is a long way to go to see some snow but that is one thing we never run short of in West Yellowstone. Hope to see you again next season.

We stayed at the Kelly Inn for the second year in a row. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is pretty standard for hotel breakfast. We ate breakfast elsewhere each day, but we did usually grab some of the doughnuts with our coffee in the mornings before we left. I also tried a couple of the hot items that were not available last year and the sausage links were pretty good. I did not use the pool but I did check out the pool area and it was clean. I used the laundry facilities and they were fine, but if you have a large load use the first floor laundry! The dryer seemed to do much better on the first floor. I would recommend the Kelly Inn for anyone traveling to West Yellowstone.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us again this year. We continue to add improvements every year in hopes of bringing you back every year. In the last year, we have added new Simmons Beautyrest pillow top beds, new 37inch Panasonic LCD TVs and added to our expanded continental breakfast. If you return again next year we just may have another surprise project completed that we are sure you will enjoy. We hope to see you again next year.

The hotel is centrally located to Yellowstone National Park and the snowmobile trails in Montana and Idaho. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is our second year at the hotel and we find it the perfect place to stay for the week we spend snowmobiling. Parking is available for our rental car as well as the snowmobiles we rent. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. Although we did not take advantage of the pool a lot of families like to spend time at the pool after a cold day on the trails.
