Went to Helena just looking to get out of town for my birthday. Based on reviews, ranking, and price, this seemed an adequate hotel.
It was worth it. The staff was friendly and attentive. Middle aged lady at the front was great, went to the front desk inquiring about things in the town for kids to do...the man did his best to help. Breakfast was good, basics like juice, milk, coffee. They have a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, etc. Pastries come from Costco, so if you like their muffins (as my family and I do) be ready to chow down. We asked to stay on the second floor to alleviate noise from above, there is no elevator so keep that in mind. Bed is comfortable, small flat screen TV with basic cable.
One thing, if you have small children...the pool starts at 3ft. They have no life jackets, so be careful.
Good hotel, would definitely go here again for a short stay (there's no reason to vacation in Helena for a long period anyway) More
