We had a wonderful visit to Glacier national Park and stayed at the Glacier Park Lodge for 4 nights in one of the remodelled rooms. The room was perfect. We ate at the restaurant two evenings for dinner and one night for dessert. There was only one vegetarian entree which made eating there more nights not feasible. We loved the outside deck looking at the mountains and found it very relaxing. While we stayed there we did a lot of hiking in the Two Medicine area and one hike in Many Glacier. All were spectacular. We will definitely go back!!!

The ambiance and history of the lodge make it a memorable place to stay. The views from our room and the common areas were spectacular. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There weren't many amenities in our room (no fridge, microwave etc) but we still enjoyed our stay and weren't expecting them anyways.

Beautiful lobby and grounds, however the rooms are sadly appointed, especially the bathroom. Floors and bed creaked every time you turn oven. Also, the lack of an elevator makes it challenging to access the room carrying all your luggage.

The construction details using large Douglass Fir columns from 1913 is simply amazing! I loved the history of the place. Our "value room" had some quirks like exposed plumbing across the ceiling and a sink with two separate faucets for cold and hot and no way to mix the two. Also no elevators making for an arduous hike up the stairs with our luggage.

We had a lovely stay. The waitstaff was excellent. Staying at the lodge allowed us to have an easy way to catch the Red Bus Tour and visit the park. We were there right before the lodge was closing for the winter, so wait times for dinner were quite long as staff was lessened.
