We stopped by after a bike ride around town for a cup of coffee. The coffee is good, the pastries look yummy and the staff is friendly! If you can, sit outside and enjoy a leisurely visit while sipping a hot or cold beverage.

We stopped in for breakfast and were greeted by a friendly server, fresh cosmopolitan fare and a hip atmosphere.

We ordered 2 iced coffees; one with house-made caramel sauce to die for, a raspberry pastry and a baguette with fresh caramelized grape jam. All were excellent and we quite enjoyed our selections.

Whilst we were nibbling, the owner came up to our table personally to ask how things were. That was a great touch.

The only downsides are the limited hours and parking during peak times. Plan accordingly.

Brace yourself for some really unique and delicious sandwiches, salads, and soup!!! This family owned restaurant is so smart about ingredients and homemade foods. The sandwiches were huge and loaded. So delicious. You won't get mayo and mustard on your sandwiches here. What you will get are delicious spreads homemade and truly unique. I am. It sure what is in the sauce on the Reuben, all I can say it was probably made with unicorn tears. It was stupid good. If you want desert...... share!!!! Everything is homemade, rich and illegal in 49 states. We ordered three and shared. We had three take home containers with the leftover desserts! You will not leave hungry!! Enjoy!!!!

Harper and Madison is a breakfast and lunch venue located in an old neighborhood grocery (10th Avenue Grocery) in the nice North Elevation part of Billings nestled between the hospitals and Pioneer Park.
The menu is small but what it lacks in variety it more than makes up for in quality. Fine baked goods such as scones, croissants and rolls make great accompaniments to the skillful barista fare. When the weather is good, eat outside at the tables, the tree lined streets are great for people or bird watching. Saturdays are busy so don't be in a hurry; enjoy the morning. Not open for dinner or on Sundays.

Oh my sweet lord. The coffee is good, the restaurant is pretty, the counter is full of home-made awesomeness. It was really hard to choose what to have for breakfast. I loved the caramel roll and also had a breakfast sandwich on a home-made biscuit and just had to go back the next day and had an incredible raspberry Danish. Good thing I don't live in Billings :)
