We went as a group with a Roadscholar program and had the whole place to ourselves. Since it was not winter we took the ride up to the restaurant in horse drawn wagons. We laughed all the way. Of course, we stopped first at the saloon down below to take go-cups of beer up to the restaurant as there is no alcohol served up there. The cabin has long wooden tables and no electricity. It was well lit with kerosene lamps which gave it a real old fashioned rustic feel. We had a wood cooked dinner of brisket and also chicken. The outhouse was a hoot...never saw such a "fancy" place. The "cowboys" that cooked and served were a fun bunch. We had a lovely evening. If there were overnight accommodations up there as one reviewer spoke of, we never saw them and obviously didn't stay there. Fun place to go either as singles or a group. You can't drive up here so you will either go with wagons or sleighs depending on the season,
