This welcome display for the state Fair is really cool. It showcases Sedalia's history as a cattle drive destination and rail head. Very well done.

There isn't a lot to see or do but the monument is still worth a visit. When it is open, anyone can walk through the drover car and play around on the engine (it's a train and buried time capsule).

We were on the way out of town and it caught our eye. Very cool monument and a great photo op. I hope to come back to Sedalia and explore some more.

This is a very well planned and historically accurate tribute to the Sedalia heritage of cattle drives and railroads. It is easy to access by car with a very short walk to the venue. It is great for pictures and set up for access by all. Come step back in time, when lives were simpler and held more meaning. A great place to see a piece of the past and imagine days gone by. Be sure to bring a camera for a family photo! I always enjoyed the trains in early America and this monument is clean and nice. A must see for those in Sedalia that want to learn of some of our rich heritage.
