We were on the way out of town and it caught our eye. Very cool monument and a great photo op. I hope to come back to Sedalia and explore some more.

This is a very well planned and historically accurate tribute to the Sedalia heritage of cattle drives and railroads. It is easy to access by car with a very short walk to the venue. It is great for pictures and set up for access by all. Come step back in time, when lives were simpler and held more meaning. A great place to see a piece of the past and imagine days gone by. Be sure to bring a camera for a family photo! I always enjoyed the trains in early America and this monument is clean and nice. A must see for those in Sedalia that want to learn of some of our rich heritage.

Very well done. A bit of the mid-west. Right outside the fair grounds. It's a new addition to the grounds.

You absolutely need to SEE this monument located at the
Missouri State Fair corner of 50 Hwy and 65 Hwy . When ever I have visitors coming that way I tell them to be sure to see it and they will want to take photos of the life size bronze cowboy and cattle. Real train from the era. Thanks to Dr. Kibertz for the lead on this great Western History Monument signifying the historical
cattle shipping area of the 1800's.
