We visited Laclede’s Landing with high expectations, but came away disappointed. Perhaps it was a function of when we visited in March, but for a site with old buildings, brick streets, immediate access to the Gateway Arch and MetroLink, there were mostly empty storefronts. We ran into more panhandlers than tourists even though it had close, convenient parking for the Arch. Maybe when Arch renovations are complete, Laclede’s Landing can make a comeback.
