The house itself is inviting. It's like Northern Ireland itself. Not big but a warm and cosy soul. It has a really nice atmosphere and also it's well equipped. Everything is new, clean and user friendly. From the nessesary information in eye sight till the fresh beds and the really good bathroom. The house has a nice entrance. Downstairs the hall is really beautiful and there are a cosy sitting room and a nice dinner room connected with a really good kitchen. Upstairs a nice master bedroom and two smaller 1 persons rooms and that really nice bathroom. A small garden behind and that's it.
Don't expect grandeur and glamour but a real classic Lisburn family house that's loved by the owner. She made something special of it.
Lisburn itself was a true surprise. We were looking for a place to stay cause my children wanted to do the Game of Thrones tour. The "Winterfell" edition. My wife wanted to see the Giant Causeway and I would like to go tto the Titanic experience and the Bushmills distillery. We made all those dreams come true and because we are fans of travelling with the public transport, Lisburn was our haven. And more. We discovered a real nice city that's proud of it's history and they are open and friendly people. And, as my wife and daughter told me: the shopping is good.
Thanks a lot Deborah, thanks a lot Lisburn. Thank you Northern Ireland, never forget how special you all are. I told my wife already that the two of us will come back one time in spring time cause we noticed that gardening is in your blood.
Greetings in the name of us four from the Hague, The Netherlands,
Hans van Vugt.
