On our recent visit to Mijas, whilst on holiday, we sought out this little restaurant because of its good Trip Advisor reviews. We got the last table as the place was very busy, and with just one waitress running around, who was lovely and friendly. We ordered a selection of tapas including the chilli mussels which were excellent. Could have done with more though and not served with a chilli mayo, it didn´t need it. The mussels had actually been cleaned properly as well.....a first in a Spanish restaurant, although I´m sure the chef is not Spanish. I loved the pulled pork served in Chinese bread with hoisin sauce. The pork cheek was tasty but I wasn´t keen on the basil dressing on it. A sweet topping would have been nicer. The gyzos were quite hard as though they had been deep fried instead of being cooked the normal way. We also had lentil and chorizo stew, which was excellent but for 8,50€, and only 2 pieces of chorizo, the portion was very small. Non of the tapas came with bread, this is available to buy separately. Although we enjoyed the tapas and the lovely house wine, we wouldn´t rush back only because there are many more different restaurants to try.
