The food was first rate. The ambiance was the tops.

Restaurant staff helpful and accommodating from resitting us inside as the weather became colder to their recommendation to the best wines and on their take on different entrees.

May not come to visit St. Louis very often, but if I do, Pastaria is #1 on my list.

Pretty much everything on the menu is amazing. Creative gelato flavors too. Very family friendly, and so much better than the usual family friendly chain restaurants- finally the adults get to enjoy great food even with the kid friendly menu. We have been for brunch, lunch, and dinner. All good. It can get crowded, and they don’t take reservations but you can check in on the No Wait app.

During a recent visit to the St. Louis/Clayton area, we enjoyed lunch on two occasions at Pasteria, conveniently and centrally located on Forsyth Blvd in downtown Clayton.
The lunch menu offers an appealing selection of pasta dishes, pizzas, salads, and soups in a dining space that is spacious, casually appointed, and filled with natural light.
At our first lunch, we shared delicious pizzas called The Holmes and Pastaria Marinara, paired with glasses of refreshing iced tea.
At our second lunch at Pastaria, we enjoyed a hearty minestrone, a terrific squash soup, and a 'chopped salad' that contained a variety of greens, pistachios, and pepperoni---a tasty blend of flavors and textures!
Our waitresses were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and most accommodating!

Took a large group. Service was very good, nice attentive college age kids. Just didn’t think the food was remarkable. Seemed a lot of food was left on plates.

Waited over an hour for a very noisy and very slow meal. Food was good, service was poor. Food came out in shifts- 10 minutes to get all meals on the table! First served meal, was cold. Not ever going back and recommend you only go on off hours. Very poorly managed and organized. Never again!!!
