We were looking for a nice place to have a bit of lunch and maybe some ice-cream with the family. We were pleased that this place was open on Christmas Eve Sunday so that was a bonus. The place was empty so we were promptly served and welcomed.
The menu has a share plate idea, so the serves are quite small. However, they are delicious. It is very obvious that they use high quality ingredients. We had the flat bread ($4), Croquettes ($6 for 2pcs), carpaccio ($22) and prosciutto with pecorino ($18). All of them were very tasty. The sorbet we ordered for our little girl wasn’t quite ready in the kitchen so they served her vanilla ice-cream with raspberries (not on the menu), which was very nice of them. If you have kids under 10, there isn’t much on the menu for them however (not a negative, just a side note). Coffee was delicious and the tiramisu was excellent.
The decor is modern and fresh with a cafe del mare type music and vibe. It’s a lovely place to spend a lazy afternoon with your partner or friends, having some wines or cocktails and slowly eating away the menu. Like said, not the cheapest place but if money isn’t an issue I’d highly recommend it! If the meals were a few dollars less, I’d have given five stars.
