“Terrible Service”
Review of TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays
Ranked #25 of 56 Restaurants in Bridgeton
Description: In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Bridgeton, MO is still America's most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it's always Friday.

This restaurant is in the Crown Plaza Hotel. (Loved the hotel, by the way.) We arrived after dark and tired from traveling. We were given a seat immediately. The restaurant was not at all busy. The waitress took our drink order immediately and we waited, and waited and waited! Finally we asked her to check on our drinks. I think she just then ordered them. Our drinks arrived after at least a 25 minute wait. Then, we waited to food. Again, reminded the waitress to check on our order. After at least 10 more minutes after reminding her, we received food, which was good. Meantime, our waitress had a lot of time to devote to the two tables behind us.

I will definitely stay at the hotel again, but would hesitate to visit this restaurant.

The food was relatively good. It came out hot and as expected. Our waiter was slow, disappeared for long periods, and didn’t refill drinks. He was friendly, but not attentive. Other servers passed by, but nobody checked on us. The food took a long time to get out, despite it being a fairly slow night. The cleanliness and atmosphere were good. This place mostly needs to work on the service.

So the food wasn't anything special and was just okay. The staff was slow and did not seem to care. It wasn't that busy but the service was still slow. I've only had one wonderful waitress here and she was lovely, timely, and very respectful. So it was average.

Just nearly had a meal at this place.
First of all the Waitress?? had some kind of attitude and was extremely rude.

It doesnt matter what was ordered' it was all cold or almost warm and tasteless.

When she?? brought the food, slammed the plates down and walked away.

Couldnt even get the drinks refilled and only showed up to present the bill.

Never asked if the food was OK; which it wasnt.

We were unable to finish eating the meal???

Garnish was definetly reused-brownish and beaten up-hope we dont get sick...

Absolutely would never recommend this place to anyone!
