“Great Place To Relax”
Reviewed 31 October 2011

We have been going to Lilley's for 10+ years and we always have a great time. This is a great place to base your fishing trip from, or just put you feet up and watch the world go past. The people are great and we really enjoy our trip every year.

You don't have to even fish to have a wonderful time here. Great resort and great part of the country. The fishing is a blast and prices are very reasonable. The Lilley's are as nice as family as one could meet. They are very dog friendly which we love and our Yorkie is treated like a guest. You could never go wrong spending time there.

Room Tip: We like number 11

Twice a year my brother, sisters, and I spend 5 days fishing at Lilley's Landing. The accommodations are clean, well maintained and furnished with everything we need. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. The tackle shop is well equipped and the staff is very helpful in outfitting you with whatever the fish are currently biting on. It's a wonderful family setting. The fishing is outstanding. The atmosphere is one of relaxation and allows our family to reconnect while doing what we love best - fishing. Because we love the place so much all of us have returned with our own families. My husband and I recently celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary there. I don't know why anyone would choose another destination in Branson. Lilley's has it all. It's also very close to all of the shows in Branson if that is on your agenda.

We spent a week, from October 16th through the 23rd. Can you say AWESOME? A great time was had by the whole family.....I heard not a single derogatory word from our group of 8 people, about anything, all week. Fishing wasn't too good, but even the fishermen in our group had a good time. Thanks to the Father Figure of our Clan and to the Staff of Lilley's Landing.

First let me say that my husband made me go on a fishing trip. So with that in mind, my review is based from a non-sportsman opinion. We had a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom on the lake location. It was very roomy and it was similar to a corporate apartment as it had cookware, towels, etc. The balcony had a huge table with seating for about 8 and a bbq grill. The staff comes around and cleans all of the bbq's every day. (Each cabin has its own grill.) And on our last day there, the used grills were being replaced with new. My husband likes this place because he can park his boat right outside in one of the 30+ boat slips they have. The outside of the place is pretty rustic but the people are friendly and the inside was more like a home than a cabin, i.e. the walls were drywall, the bathrooms were similar to home, the kitchen had a nice island, etc. The things I did not like (but not too much because I will be going back again) was that there were no tvs in the bedrooms (but hey, you are there to enjoy the outdoors, right?); upon leaving you are asked to make sure you take out all of your garbage (again this is no big deal because you have to do it at home, right?); and you share a balcony (which is not a hassle because most people who stay at this place are usually older nice people like ourselves). We had our dog with us and others had pets there as well. The place was immaculate. There are always people tending to the grounds, etc. You have privacy because they really don't come in to clean till you check out. You just set your towels outside your door if you need to exchange towels. So even though I am not a rustic kind of person, I will be going back again next Spring with my husband. Also, there are fishing guides available and if you want to make sure you catch some fish and you are not that familiar with this lake, then this is an option to consider. The tv had many many channels and the internet worked great, as did the central ac and heat. Our first 2 nights in the area were spent at an area hotel then our last 3 nights were here and it was most enjoyable to bbq and sit around with pretty scenery. If you like rustic but also like the comforts of home, and love the outdoors, then this is the place for you.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms but you might want to be sure to ask for one that faces directly on the water...
