My husband and I stayed in a beautiful king suite here for 6 nights. Our room had a wonderfully soft bed, a nice couch with a coffee table, another table with a chair, and jacuzzi as well as a regular bathroom. Other room accommodations included an iron and ironing board, 2 robes, and 2 luggage racks. The breakfast provided each morning from 7-9:30 had a nice variety. This hotel uses REAL plates, napkins, and flatware! Also, a shout out to the front desk worker Jeffery Cooper for helping us get discounted tickets for the Titanic Museum.

Customer Service
After a very long journey, it was good to finally be at the Hotel, and the Welcome we received was worth the trip.
Jeffrey immediately made you feel right at home, with a Great sense of Humour, as we were Jet Lagged, he negotiated round us and finally we had our Room keys. The weeks visit got better each day as we met other members of staff, and quickly realised they all had the same High Standards of Customer Service. Nothing was too much trouble, and if they didn't know the answer they found out for you - Thank You Steve, Darlene, Liz, Tom, Melanie, Candy, McKayla
The Hotel was warmly decorated for Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and looked Beautiful Inside and Out - Day and Night. There were even decorations in the Indoor Pool area.
Breakfast
Breakfast had the feeling of a huge 'Family' affair - Very Busy, Friendly, with lots of visiting stories, and information, given and received. The food was plentiful, lots of variety available - making your own Waffles was good fun. The hot was replenished frequently by the very busy, and Always Smiling Steve,Tabby and Winnie. They also cleared the tables quickly, kept the buffet areas, and tables clean and tidy.
Rooms
Our room was spacious, plenty of hangers for our clothes, plenty of power points for our electrical items.
Also, the look was very in keeping with the name of the Hotel.
We had a room at the back of the building, with a balcony (small table and two chairs) and a Wonderful view
over the valley below. Small Bathroom with Shower over the Bath, and a separate sink and vanity unit.
The Fridge was very handy, as was the tea/coffee maker, and the hairdryer.
The rooms were kept clean and tidy, and anything we needed, we just had to ask.
Location
Fabulous - Across the road there was a large Walmart and other stores, plus McDonalds, Subway.
Restaurants
Ask at reception for recommendations, and they sometimes have discount cards available.
There is a Dennys next door, & 5/10mins walk - Shorty Smalls and Shoneys. Grand Country Buffet 15/20mins
The Moon River Theatre is opposite Shorties.
Out of the Hotel turn right past Dennys, and you can walk down to the Hill to a large Retail Park. Well worth a look,
some good bargains. You can also take a shorter route out of the back of the Hotel, across the car park.
NB: It's a VERY Steep walk back up
We didn't have a car, so relied on taxis, which was never a problem.
My apologies to any of the staff I have not mentioned, they were All Brilliant.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay! The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holiday season. The staff was always extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again in the future. If there was any negative, it was the lack of electrical outlets. But, I'm sure this was due to this being an older hotel. Turns out we don't need that many chargers plugged in after all. :-)

When you walk into the main lobby you are greeted with a well decorated area for the Christmas season that also has a sitting area with four nice wing chairs and a circular sitting area with four very large teddy bears. Trees and Nutcrackers are all about. The view itself is very delightful. The people at the desk are courteous and knowledgeable. The dining room is on the way to the elevator and it is huge compared to many of the hotels where I have stayed. The rooms are tastefully decorated in the Victorian style. This hotel provides a really full and warm breakfast. From the eggs, bacon, sausage, and fruit area to the waffle area this is grand buffet. They even have a waffle making machine where the kids can see the waffles being made. That was a bit hit! There is also tea and cookies (not Otis's but hand made) served every afternoon. Parking is not a problem since there is parking out front and three levels of parking in back. Did I mention that they are also pet friendly. There were three couples and we each had rooms with two queen beds. We all left with the feeling that when we come back this is the place we want to stay.

Room tip: We had a room on the third floor facing main street and never heard the cars go by.

My son and my pup and I stayed at the Hotel Grand Victorian over the week after Christmas - little did I know that it was one of the busiest weeks of the year! I had thought being end of season and cold, it might be slow in Branson - not so! The hotel was centrally located - the staff were exceptional - the breakfast buffet was very delicious, plentiful and full of choices - they have a chef and a kitchen staff onsite who prepare the food fresh. The lobby and upstairs sitting area were decorated for Christmas and they did a wonderful job. The hotel is within walking distance to Denny's and Krispy Kreme (which are practically in their parking lot), with Walmart and the Ducks right across the street. The internet speed was great - my son played his online computer game with no lag time. The hotel was very accommodating to our pet (a 17 pound Chihuahua/Terrier mix) - we were put on the first floor with the other pets - other than some yapping dogs next door - it was pretty quiet and peaceful. These rooms have small patios where you can sit and even let your dog use the facilities (if you can place her over a small fence and pick her back up - it would be nice if they had small gates you could open - but nonetheless, it worked well for us). The showers were hot, good water pressure - the jacuzzi was hot but the pool room was a little cool - and we didn't venture into the pool as it was -0 temps that particular week. The game room has a bit to be desired as 4 of the 8 games were out of order ... I realize kids play computer and video games on their phones and devices nowadays - so maybe that room could be better used for some other purpose. All in all, we were extremely pleased, got a good rate on Groupon - the dog fee was very reasonable (we paid a one time fee of $35 for the whole four days we were there). They also have a tea and cookie time from 2-4 which was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again the next time we bring the pup - and when we don't bring the pup too! The pet rooms are separate from the rest of the hotel so I'm sure other guests did not even know pets were there. The only negative I could possibly come up with would be that the hotel is a bit dated - especially the air conditioning/heater situation - they are large window units that are extremely loud and not well regulated in that it got super hot at night and would not auto shut off - we had to keep getting up to turn it up or down, on and off, etc. The beds are a little lumpy - mine was especially so, my son said his was fine - guess I should have flipped him for it! All in all though we had a very pleasant stay - and our pup gives it two paws up also!
