We spent one night here and were pleased with our room. It seemed new or newly-remodeled. The room was spacious with a king bed and large sofa. Part of the sofa could be turned into a bed, and there was still a small part that could be used as a chair while the sofa bed was in use. There was a fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave.
The bathroom had a step-in shower with glass doors and a fiberglass shower surround that had a subway tile look.
The breakfast buffet was nice and was kept stocked by an attendant. They had an exercise room and an outdoor pool (not yet open for the season in mid-April).
The hotel is right down the street from Baptist Health Medical Center - DeSoto and would be convenient for those who have business there. It's also close enough to the Memphis Airport that you could stay there the night before a flight. Rates are cheaper than in downtown Memphis. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.
Our only problem was that we found it difficult to find the hotel at night. We could see it, but it was hard to find the streets that led to it. That should be easier during daylight hours.
The front desk clerk (Kyle?) was very friendly.More
