If you go to the Biloxi area there is a local steakhouse that gives you an alternative to the high priced Mortons and Ruth Christ in the casinos called Cheryl's Steakhouse. For half the price you get a fabulous steak with the trimmings in a home style atmosphere. Lots of choices when it comes to cuts including Filet, ribeye and t-bone cooked and seasoned to perfection. And if you aren't full at the end of dinner, they have home made pie! A 16 oz ribeye with all the trimming was under $24.

We pulled into the parking lot and wasn't impressed. It was in an older strip mall area. We weren't for sure but we decided to go in. There was a sign on the door you could bring you own wine in until 8:30. Made us even more skeptical! But was VERY impressed when you first walk in! Huge open wood oven where she was cooking steaks and burgers. Wood smelled delicious. Diners plates looked delicious! Sat by the fire and watched Cheryl cut and cook our steaks. Service was great. I had the filet that was about 3 - 4 inches thick and cooked perfectly. One had a T-bone and 2 had strips that were all perfect. Very juicy and delicious!!

We really love Cheryl's. She cooks all the steaks herself right there in an open pit. Very good steaks cooked as specified! My husband got ribeye and I got filet! I really enjoy their green beans also! It is consistently yummy!

Thanks for having us. We enjoyed the mason jar drinks. The food was awesome. Hospitality was good. The chicken salad was so good. But please make a salad instead of just lettuce. Pork chops were lip smacking food according to my husband. Smokey BBQ smell can be over whelming. And it was hotter inside than out. Not sure if I would go back.

Usually crowded around dinner time and has a odd closing time of about 8:45 pm. Drawback here is you smell like an oven when you leave. Steaks are good and usually cooked right. Fried mushrooms are good, but not as good as the Sandbar's in Biloxi. Place is dated and has a 1980s feel. Would certainly come back.
