This restaurant is pretty nice in ambience, authenticity and variety of menu choices.
The staff is excellent and we did enjoy our food. We ordered vegetarian chimichanga and vegetarian fajitas and they both were excellent, the salsa and chips were delicious. The prices are reasonable too, won't break your pockets.
Worth a visit if you are in this area.

You start with free chips and salsa, and I enjoyed a 34 ounce Coors Light($6) and the lunch special Burrito Nacional($8) a cheesy covered burrito of goodness that I don't want to know the calorie count on but always hits the spot when I visit here. I sat at the bar this time and service was great, where one bartender left off the other picked up. Service has always been great here, food is affordable and quick.

We enjoy hitting Acapulco with friends from work for happy hour once or twice a month. Make sure you try El Viaje, the Lift Bridge brew made exclusively for Acapulco. It is excellent! The two entrees listed in my favorites are below. We stick to those two almost exclusively. They taste the most like authentic Mexican food, and they don't have the cheese sauce. My wife likes the Enchiladas Verde because it is one of the few gluten-free options on the menu.

Dinner Saturday night with family. We had seven people in our group. Waited a long time to be seated, but that was OK. It was a busy Saturday night. Once we got to our table, our waitress took our drink orders. She got the orders wrong, but we didn't make a fuss. When we finally were able to place our dinner orders (she was very busy) almost all of our orders were wrong. One person in our party didn't even get his meal. Our orders were delivered to our table at various times by people who didn't know which table ordered what. It was chaos. The food was pretty good, but we will not go back. Too disorganized for us.

Usually a great location, friendly service. Get the fajitas and queso dip, so good. Must try if in mood for Mexican food.
