We recently went to one of the many different luncheon buffets offered at Kozlaks' Thought it was a good place to meet friends from the other side of town. All enjoyed the entrees and the well supplied salad bar. Our server was very friendly and they gave us one of the best tables over looking the patio.

Kozlak's is always a treat to the palate and the eye. My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful evening; the interior is beautifully decorated for Christmas and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the pork chop with apples and maple syrup, and my friend enjoyed an excellent fillet. Our thanks to the chef. We sat by the window and enjoyed the reindeer and lights. I love the warmth of the supper club and friendly staff.
I also had several lunches with family this summer - equally excellent.

You might think we are saying don't go to Kozlaks, and you'd be right, but we are really saying to them, "don't open a new restaurant." They have to leave their present location in a few months and are allegedly looking for another. It would appear that they have run out of gas and don't care anymore so they should take their amassed cash and call it quits. The service bordered on rude, the food was so-so and the message management is sending is that they no longer have to worry about you being a repeat customer. We have received that message and will honor their wishes.

Went on a Thursday, arrived about 5:50. Went into the bar for cocktails before dinner. Bartender was friendly, made a good drink. Everything went downhill, however, when we went to the dining room at about 6:45. There were only about 25 other people in the dining room, they did not open until 4:30. The waiter came over and stated they were out of prime rib, and their Sirloin International. When I commented that it was not even 7, and they were already out of prime rib, he just shrugged his shoulders and motioned over to a table of 6 and stated "This group came in and got it all". Seems odd that they would make so little prime rib. The house salad consisted of about 6 leaves of spinach, a couple of croutons, and a sprinkle of what may have once been called grated cheese. One small breadstick comprised the bread basket. Waiter was inattentive, and the service was very slow. We will not return.
