We stayed overnight on 12-29-2017, a Friday. Competing hotels charge extra for Friday. Not these. The $70 + tax we paid with our AARP discount was a best value--just look at the other hotels in this town! Everything was superb. Everything seemed new--I guess they are maintaining and refurbishing. Room rather large, a delightful sidechair extremely comfortable, easy to move about, and new-looking. Carpet clean. Everything clean. Remarkable how the bathroom and fixtures were spotless. We were glad for the microwave and the refrigerator, and the in-room coffee. The room's design is also well done, with plenty of table and counter space. The continental breakfast breakfast was better than some, having real food: hard-boiled eggs, butter, waffles, good coffee, more. (Don't you hate those "scrambled eggs" probably made from dry eggs that some hotels have? Not this one.) And it's a very good location right at an important downtown intersection. Will stay here anytime we need to stay in St. Cloud. Oh, and the heater is pre-set by the establishment and it was perfectly quiet and comfortable on this -20 degree night.
The price was too high, $99.00 per night, for what we received. The bathtub drain did not drain properly, had to stand in water to shower. We try to stay in a Super 8 when traveling but this one was too high for the services received and the room was of poor quality.
