There are a lot of stores and shops and businesses and restaurants in homes in this area that you can look at and even take a walk when the weather is nice

Lyn-Lake has it all! From theaters to art galleries to bars and restaurants. All of which are small independent businesses. No big box, national chains found here. Lyn-Lake has some incredible murals and street art as well! Parking is good with a huge lot behind the Jungle Theater. The feel of the area is very real, raw and independent!

Great place to spend a whole evening, or an afternoon. Huge mix of shops, restaurants, bars, a couple coffee spots, a couple theatres. Kind of like how Uptown used to be (artsy and eclectic, not at all corporate). Mostly small businesses. There's a big parking lot that's really convenient to most of the neighborhood, cheap and convenient to park there. There's also plenty of on-street parking if need be. Several gyms and yoga studios if that's what you're into, as well as several chiropractors and massage therapists. Basically everything you would need in a day or weekend or week.

This little neighborhood has it all! Remember Uptown before it got over run with commercial chain stores and restaurants? And when you could actually find parking? That vibe is still alive in LynLake...

Such a beautiful part of Minneapolis. This neighborhood has endless restaurants and shops all within walking distance. If you choose to go to the downtown are, it is just a short cab ride away. I highly recommend walking around in the summertime during one of it's many festivals.
