First time at this location. It was fun, abit pricey at $30 each (sign says $20 normally). Very good service. No problems. Good selection of food. Only problem was that they ran out of Flan before my wife got some. All in all a good visit. Hope to make it back again with whole family. Fun time.

The least service and professionalism I've ever experienced, our group includes the perspective of a professional server as well. We arrived at 5:45pm for our reservation. Yes, the restaurant was busy. We were seated on the highest floor. There were 2 servers for 11 tables. We patiently waited to be approached, maybe greeted. We watched and observed the servers frantically chased and they avoided eye contact, finally one walked by and I had to get her attention as we neared 6:30pm. We asked for someone to help us (yes we could have left but every place would have been just as busy and we were hungry), the first server immediately directed fault to the server and said she would get us some water and help us. She came back with water several minutes later and said the other server would help us as she poured our water. Around 6:40 the other waitress approached us again directing fault to the host and apologized for the delay. She took our drink order, followed by our food order. We watched tge tables around us and observed food and drinks not being served. The table next to us left after not getting their drinks or food, the next table ordered received their drinks and appetizer after speaking to the manager they left. Two tables to our left were without food or drink and we all started wondering and sharing our experiences. Finally around 7:25 we received our food less one item ordered, our server was no where in site, the food was delivered by the kitchen. Our water glasses were empty, still no wine or cider delivered. We could see the restaurant was thinning out. We ordered things we thought would be quick to make and we need something to eat before our concert. Finally our server appears and asks how the food is, our glasses empty and no drinks we requested water and asked about our drinks, she said the bar was so backed up and we waited for water and our drinks. Our server delivers missing drinks to 2 tables, still no water or drinks for us. Our server arrives upstairs around 7:40 with our drinks, 1 hr after we ordered them. We again asked for water and the manager, along with our bill as we wanted to get going. We reminded the server of our previous water request. She brought water, she asked if we wanted the bill we reminded her of our previous request for it minutes ago. We had joked about how we might get our drinks after our meal or not at all. The manager was visible talking to tables by request, as we had already requested to visit with him as well. The manager arrived at our table shortly before 8:00, we were his sixth upper deck visit. We shared our experiences from 5:45pm to almost 8:00pm. The manager was unemotional, listened like the words were going right through him in one eat and our the other, he acknowledged our experience was unacceptable and offered some compensation along with a comment that the situation should have been brought to his attention sooner (we wondered how, there was no service, no servers helping us, no manager in site. No one was visible or receiving service). We were honest, respectful and professional about our non existent service we were treated colded and felt there was a lack of understanding and acknowledgement by the manager. We understand busy and waiting it's tough to keep a hungry crowd happy. We don't understand blaming the host, not taking responsibility, that the servers don't have their own eyes to see, missing food, missing drinks, multiple request for water and our bill. There were 2 servers and 11 tables, yes they have stairs to contend with. However, it seems 2 servers should be able to handle 11 tables. Did I mention 6 of 11 tables had similar experiences, that's a bad for more than 50% of the guests in one area of the restaurant. We asked the manager how he will handle and train/improve for the future and we received nothing other than the service was unacceptable. We suggested training, awareness and servers working together. Will not visit again! I didn't even mention our experience with the manager as our host when we arrived, not much of a warm welcome we were rather a nuisance.

My sister and I decided to go to the Loring Pasta Bar before in Indigo Girls concert at the Varsity Theatre. We arrived around 5:20 which we thought would allow plenty of time for a 7 pm concert. We were seated and it was least ten minutes before anyone took our order. We ordered drinks and again waited this time fifteen minutes for drinks. Our waitress told us the bar was backed up when we flagged her down to ask what was happening. It took over an hour and a half for our entrees. Luckily the food was tasty when it finally arrived. I had the chicken curry and my sister had chicken tacos. Our server was rude and aloof and was and said, “don’t worry, I will come you something so you are happy” when we commented on the wait time. This was a super disappointing experience. They were clearly not staffed for the crowd and unable to manage and provide customer service.

This restaurant is two story with tables on the second floor surrounding the first floor. The service was excellent and the food portions were very large. The food is predominantly Italian style with some other food choices also.

The service is great. The food is OK. Lack of bread and butter. No cheese or cold cuts. The salmon had no dill dip. The meat was dry and no sauces. Macaroni and cheese was sour. The ice cream completely rock frozen. Omelettes, I had better ones.
