Spectacular coffee and scones that were crumbly and light. It is a cash only business, but well worth making sure your wallet is not empty. Wonderful morning stop!

Sure, it's a tiny coffee shop and the coffee is great but what you really want to make sure you do is get a slice of quiche. That stuff is pure magic!

Great (fair trade!) coffee from happy, helpful people, plus excellent sweet things baked on site. If you time it right you can get a slice of always-excellent quiche; the variety changes from from day to day. Very convenient to the Hilton on the skyway, and way better coffee than Starbucks in the lobby there -- and a friendly locally owned business. A real gem.

It is a blessing and a curse to work right above this cafe! The coffee is great and the baked goods are made fresh every morning. I particularly like the savory scones and cinnamon scones. Keep in mind that Cafe Patteen only accepts cash.

I stopped in for an afternoon snack. I didn't get coffee or espresso.

Their scones and muffins looked like they were picked over, with lots of broken pieces and crumbs.

I had a big piece of pumpkin spice cake. It was huge and only cost a few dollars. I took it home to share with my wife. Neither of us cared for it.
