We love Granite City for the wings and beer but went for a early lunch on a Sunday and they had brunch. It was fabulous. Great price for kids 12 and under. Fresh baked cinnamon roll delivered to your table and a great omelette bar.

We arrived shortly after 5pm on Saturday, no reservations, just walked in and were told a 15-20 minute wait. OK, no problem. Restaurant was lively and busy. Ended up waiting about 30minutes for a table. No problem, I will not fault an establishment for being a little off on their wait times. We were on our way to a hockey game so we were on a schedule, but had plenty of time.

We were seated and ordered promptly. One soda, one water. Onion rings off the chef's specials menu and the Cajun pasta and a bison burger. Nothing fancy. Onion rings came out fast and were good. Then everything stopped.

No food emerged from the kitchen. The table next to us left, a new couple was seated, ordered onion rings and their food, ate their onion rings, received their food, enjoyed their food. Us, nothing but waiting. After 40 minutes from the time we ordered, and plenty of anxious clock-watching, we flagged down our waitress and told her we had to go. We couldn't wait any longer. As we are talking to her, the food arrives. Apparently, there was a problem with the bison burger. I must have missed the fine print on the menu that said they needed to drive to a farm, kill it and process the meat before they could cook it. 40 minutes to cook a burger?1?

She kind of apologized and offered us to-go boxes. We took our food and left. No formal apologies, no offer of a discount. We just paid the full-price bill and ran out the door, having no time left to ask for a manager.

Maybe the food is really good, but when your eating a bison burger in the car and reheated Cajun pasta the next day, it loses something. Needless to say, we won't be back, or if we do, we'll be sure to clear out our schedule for the day and bring a pillow for the nap between ordering and eating.

We had reservation, which is a must on weekend night. Got right in and had awesome birthday dinner and dessert. Service was fantastic and quick and other servers even said hello and greeted us. Varied menu and prices and something for everyone. We love their email program with specials and were able to try the steak and spare ribs with birthday coupon and thought that was great and helped us afford to try nicer items.

We stopped in with a group of 8 after a day of meetings- this is a good place to go with a large group. The menu is quite varied: they offer salads, pasta, steak and seafood options. The steak salad was delicious and really filling as an entree- the horseradish dressing was awesome! Although I didn’t get a beer the flights looked interesting and weren’t too pricey. Would visit again!

We were looking for a place to have a casual dinner having just arrived in Maple Grove for the evening. We had been driving since 7 pm the previous day. The beer was good and the meal was ok.
