This is a small, family run restaurant in a strip mall off the highway.
I found the food very authentic and tasty. I had a pabellon, with shredded beef, black beans, and sweet fried plantains and cheese. The arepa was wonderful, and tasted great with a marvelous consistency, chewy but not too chewy; sweet but not too sweet, and very fresh.
It came with two sauces, a white, mayonnaise-based, sauce with a kick, and hey red, vinegar-based sauce, that was even hotter and tastier. I liked both on the Arepa.
The owner was friendly, helpful and warm.
The menu has many choices and the pictures on the wall can help a newcomer decide what to eat.
I very much enjoy supporting small, family owned businesses that take pride in the food they serve. This is clearly one of them. Try it.
