Maybe the conditions weren't right that day, but it was supposed to be a pretty good time of year so we were disappointed. They do have a trailer selling t-shirts, etc. and also a box with educational items such as different bird wings for the kids. It was a nice view anyway!

Terrrrrrific views! Beautiful birds! And an education to boot. September is best when the birds are on the move and weekdays will be less crowded.

Husband and I went last fall to see bird migration in September of 2010. We are VERY much into nature + wildlife + the environmental preservation. Some idiot was talking on a cellphone. LOUD. Almost the whole time we were there. I wanted to yell at him, but figured he was so ignorant, he wouldn't 'get it' I doubt I will be back, unless of course they ban cellphones there. One can only hope.

A very cool place to watch the migration of hawks and eagles. There were naturalists and volunteers putting on programs and answering questions. Dress very warm in October! We saw many birds at a distance.
