We really enjoyed our Sunday breakfast at Zeitgeist Arts Cafe. The decor is very chic and modern and comfortable. Our food was very fresh and our dishes artfully presented to us. The french toast on the Lake Superior Bakehouse Brioche was delicious and the berries very fresh, topped with the maple syrup was divine. It was a large portion and paired perfectly with the omelet of the day which was full of bacon and cheese. The eggs were extremely fluffy and fresh. Service was top notch and very pleasant. This is an establishment worth your time when visiting in Duluth!

This place was phenomenal! The waitress took special care with ensuring the food I ordered met my food allergy issues. We all agreed she would make an excellent manager. I ordered the walleye sandwich and it was delicious. I would definitely order it again. All four of us were very pleased with the food we ordered. It was a fabulous experience and I would go there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended. A must-do.

Nice place to go as a couple or with friends for cocktails and artistic food choices. Great mood lighting and street view in downtown. Arthouse cinema downstairs.

The food is moderately priced and delicious. Everthing we had was perfect from curry to trout . The presentation and the wine were 5 star restaurant quality. Try bacon wrapped dates stuffed with cheese.

We’d found Zeitgeist on our last visit a couple of years ago, and naturally wanted to return. Right in downtown Duluth, in the same building as a movie theatre, it has an outstanding selection of spirits — probably 50 bourbons and perhaps 25 ryes, just to start. A good bartender as well.

The menu is interesting and good for a light meal or full dinner. Last night, we began with a cheese plate, and continued with a very good roasted romaine salad. The trout dish was uneven — the trout itself was great, but the sauce undermined it and the accompanying couscous.

Still, we returned this evening for an end-of-evening stop. And we’ll come back again, I’m sure.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are so glad you keep coming back to visit. We will look at the sauce on the trout to determine how we may be able to improve this dish. We hope to see you again soon.
