We’ve been eating at Gyropolis for the last three years and have yet to be disappointed. The owners are solid people and the staff is amazing. Our teenage daughter is a hard sell and even she loves it here! We’ve had most of the items here: each type of gyro(except for veggie), falafel, salads, pizza, cookies, baklava, fries and fresh pita chips with hummus. Like I said, never a bad meal. Bloomington recently added a Falafel King; we ate there once and trust me, don’t bother. If you want a good solid gyro, this is your place!

For many years, my family, coworkers and I have enjoyed Gyropolis. The owners, Dino and George (brothers), treat their customers and employees with excellence. Juan and Daniel make a great team on the make line especially during the lunch rush. They know the regulars. The food is tasty with fresh produce from the owners’ farm. Some of our favorites are Spicy Gyro, Gyro Salad with chicken, Gyro platter and Spanakopita (Spinach pie). If you prefer gluten free, order without the pita bread. You can choose lamb, beef or chicken for the entrees.
Whatever you choose, you can count on an authentic meal and good portions at an affordable price.

I would say that Gyropolis generally hits the mark and gets an overall “thumbs up” from me. The food quality is generally quite good and very consistent. For newcomers who are considering a visit, however, do be aware of the dynamics of this place. Gyropolis is a family run, fast casual establishment that has zero ambiance and limited seating capacity. That’s why you see few indoor photos of the place and mostly photos of the food. The building that houses the restaurant was a former donut shop a dozen or so years ago. This being said, Gyropolis is really a better take-out joint. The people who run the place are polite, although somewhat Minnesota reserved in my opinion for a Greek heritage family. There’s little laughter or gregarious banter like one would expect to find in back the old country. Do also be aware of the limited hours here. The place closes at 3p on Saturday and is closed all day on Sunday. The place can be busy at peak hours and service is not all that fast. Come for the food and try and ignore the other shortcomings.

Being from Greece, I can tell you if you want the most authentic taste of the Greek islands, this is the place to go. We not only cater our parties from here, but pick up or dine in weekly. The falafel, the gyro, the spicy feta spread and the tzatziki sauce are delicious. If you want an authentic way to eat a gyro, ask them to put in some french fries. That's how a few places in Greece serve up a gyro. If you can get there before 2pm, you must try the ovenroasted potatoes. The roasted potatoes never make past 2pm most days. The greek salad with their salad dressing is yummy and basically there is something for everyone including kids.

Stopped in for diner with my wife. Both of us ordered Gyros. They were fantastic. Generous portion of meat sauce, & feta cheese. This was our first time & highly recomended for any meal.
