I am not much of a mall guy, but I have to admit that the Mall of America is a unique experience; however, the gem of it is the Blu that offers you a superb way to escape the hustle and unwind.
From the wonderful staff to the spacious rooms to the room service and the cleanliness, it is all there. Is it the Wynn in Las Vegas? No, but it is a close second.
If I had to push a complaint, it would only be the rudeness of some of the people staying there. Manners appear to be a thing of the distant past and the mocking glee that a select few show demonstrates the cultural low to which we have stumbled.
The Radisson Blu is a beautiful hotel connected to the Mall of America. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated and comfortable. The only downside is parking, I recommend using valet parking or you may not find parking at the free hotel parking spaces.
Service is excellent.
Bar/restaurant is excellent.
Rooms are great.
Hotel is directly attached to the Mall, can walk indoors from your room to the mall.
Super easy to get a late-checkout, all 3 times we have been there so far.
Kind of pricey, even though it is directly attached to the Mall.
Now that there is a direct-attached JW Marriott which looks VERY nice, I would shop by price.
Service and staff at the Blu are always amazing.
