We dropped in for a midweek lunch.Chose off the specials board and very pleased with our choices I.e. Rib eye steak with sauté potatoes, roasted Mediterranean vegetables and salad with a lovely sauce served separately in a sauce boat and English mustard in a small ramekin, the other choice was Pan fried turbot with new potatoes, carrots, leeks and green beans there was also a lovely sauce with the fish.We were really too full to have a dessert but couldn't resist so had the chocolate fudge cake and ice cream which came well presented and not too large a portion. The coffee was good as well.The staff were very attentive although we did have to wait a while before somebody came to the till for us to pay our bill. An experience we will repeat as it is so convenient for us to travel to.We wish the new crew good luck please don't alter too much.
