This place has been here for years yet we never tried it until yesterday, The food was very good and plentiful. The Mongolian beef was great as was the hot and sour soup. The crispy duck however was pressed, not what was expected, it looked like burnt meat loaf. The décor is quaint but could use a little TLC. Service was excellant

We have family in Detroit and they have taken us to Mon Jin Lau for the past three years and now we can't get it off of our minds! We CRAVE the gyoza, Hunan spicy shrimp, Mongolian beef, pepper steak, Mandarin chicken, the Mon Jin Lau fried rice and three gem noodles. We have ordered other items on the menu and have loved them just as much. So far...nothing has disappointed!! Thanks Mon Jin Lau for great food and great memories with our family!

This is my all time favorite restaurant. I've been eating there for a good 10 years. I travel for a living, I avoid sushi restaurants when I travel because when you have the best at home, why bother. This is the best, and not just sushi, their entrees are just as good!!! And the staff .. simply the best!

Cashew chicken was a little bland.. the other chicken dish was.. good.. (see picture) forgot the name..
Liz served us.. but it was the manager who impressed me.. he was all over the place.. with his spectacles balanced on his forehead.. defying gravity.. we'll run place.. vibrant .. packed....lot of happy laughter

I was ordering the sushi rolls, the veggie once and with salmon and tuna fish. The place with a great energy and the people are classic.
The stuff are so nice and it amazing to have birthday party there :)
The menu is not that expensive but once in a while you can do that without spending too much money:)
The pad Thai was great and the desert was wow !
