Had a late lunch the food was excellent. Everything was fresh and tasted great.
The waitress was wonderful and the owner is very friendly. You can tell that the food was prepared by someone who loves to cook! An excellent place to eat. This is my new Downriver pick for Mexican cuisine. Try it you'll love it.

Fabulous, fresh, delicious food!! Their tortas are large and filling, and they have the best street tacos! Very friendly staff, excellent place!

Had a family dinner there and eating there for the first time. Small with very little parking. Food was Mexican but quality could have been a lot better. Doubt if I would go back.

Delicious food. Great salsa. We enjoyed the opportunity to try four different salsa varieties. The staff were friendly and attentive. A free sample cup of their deliciou soup was an unexpected nice touch.

Thanks to Jeff @ DFCU for the recommendation! Entrees were ok but hygiene and loud music were not... Hope they read reviews and use the feedback to improve--we want to come back and be able to rate them higher.

GOOD
1. Husband's torta was really good, very fresh bread & 2 could have shared it. Served with a large plate of fries (just ok--prefer crispier).
2. Burrito was also big enough for 2, served with rice and refried beans. Would get it again but will try something else first.
3. Complimentary cup of soup. Didn't like it that much but it's nice that they offer it.
4. Brought home 1/2 of torta & 1/2 of burrito with some rice and beans for 2 lunches.
5. Employees were friendly.
6. Restaurant was clean, nice decor.

BAD
1. UNBELIEVABLE--waitress dropped our bottle of ketchup on the floor THEN PUT IT ON OUR TABLE! OMG!!
2. Watched hostess, standing by cook, running her hands through her long hair the entire time we were there! If not touching her hair, she was using her cell phone (the dirtiest thing most people own!). She went right from touching her hair and/or phone to handling plates, menus, etc. VERY disgusting! Also looked over and saw waitress standing there touching her hair... This has GOT to be addressed by management!
3. Had a fruit fly at our table. Hopefully this was an isolated thing and not a chronic problem like at some places.
4. Music was WAY too loud. Couldn't even have a conversation at our table and it was hard to hear the waitress and hostess.
5. Hostess and waitress couldn't answer basic questions well. Asked for a description of the soup: "it's got noddles, it's very good". And to describe the cheese on the burrito: "it's creamy".
6. They serve 4 kinds of salsa without asking what you want--really wasteful. We only wanted the mild, and even that was too strong for me.
7. Neither of us cared for the tortilla chips--hard, didn't taste fresh. A lot of them were too heavily salted.
8. We weren't crazy about the salsa either.
9. Prices on their own website are wrong (lower online than in the restaurant). I've attached photos of the current, correct menu.
10. $31 for 1 torta & 1 burrito (including tax & tip). That's it. No appetizer, drinks, or dessert. Yes, we had leftovers, but prices are high!

Thank Kona-ray
