nice drink and wine selection, draft beers, then hand crafted breakfast, lunch, and dinner, at any time! (I'm pretty sure) Plenty to choose from, a very good value for the quality, if you're a big eater, just round it out from one of the many appetizers or sides. George checks in with everyone and makes sure you're all set, Dayna took very good care of us and helped with the menu and with suggestions. The whole staff seems to operate as a team and helps each other out. Small bar where you can catch a game, outdoor seating, and chicken and waffles!! Easy couple of blocks from the Custer statue and the river, a nice, downtown area with easy parking. Four solid desserts, do not miss the tres leche (sp?) or the chocolate molten cake...

We appreciate your patronage and your stellar review Thomas M! You are correct in that we serve all our menu items at all times of the day. Who doesn't like breakfast for dinner every now and then? Dayna will be happy to hear your comments...they will be passed along to her. Thanks for coming in.

First time was a Friday night with a group of about 40 people. The staff accompanied us well and all the food was delicious. Came back for Sunday brunch with bottomless Mimosas . Apple cider with cinnamon sugar rim. Yimmy- eggs benedict on homemade honey corn muffins.

Thank you for your wonderful comments keylore2015. We're thrilled you loved both your visits! Our honey which is used in the corn muffins as well as other applications at Public House, is local Monroe, Michigan honey.

Several members of my family are gluten-free and this is our go-to restaurant in the area. The menu is not huge but what they make is excellent. They change it up periodically and have specials every day. If I have to make one criticism is that on some Friday evenings they have live music during the dinner hour. The place is always packed at that time but we don't stay. The restaurant is not set up for live music, the sound is almost overpowering and you cant hold any conversation at all and there is no way to avoid the noise. You could sit outside on the sidewalk but on a summer afternoon you are sitting on the west side of the building and the heat would almost cook your food.

Hi Gargoyle158, thank you for your loyalty and recommendation! You are correct in that we have live music in the summer. However it is every other Thursday evening. We are one of the restaurants that take part in the River Raisin Jazz Series that culminates in the Jazz Festival in Downtown Monroe in August. We appreciate your feedback.

The food and atmosphere is always impeccable! My fiancé and I always enjoy ourselves when we are able to dine here! The staff are attentive and the food is always fresh- and a lot of the times local!

Who'd athunk! Corn bread and BBQ chicken was very good, along with baked beans. Our waitress was very pleasant and explained the menu very well and provided us with very responsive service, even though it was fairly busy. Nice find!
