All there buns are amazing. This is the best place in Michigan and they are not skimpy on the filling unlike ALL the other bakeries. Every thing is good and we usually go there every other week. Buy 12 pastries and get the 13th FREE. Also, the best price out of ALL the bakeries around. Yummmmmm

It is a small bakery and when you walk in you get a tray and tongs and put what you want on the tray, or ask for it if it is behind the glass, and they put it in a bag for you. Most of the things that I saw were about $1! So all of this was $5 and they are pretty big sized.
I asked the guy for recommendations and he said the pork one and the custard one. Pork is like pulled pork in a soft semi-sweet bread, this was my least favorite one though. The custard was probably my favorite! Then the crusty looking one is pineapple (but I would never guess that based on the taste), the pink one is taro something, and the sesame one is just called sesame ball. I have no idea what is in the sesame ball but it is pretty good. Overall really good! I would go again, especially to share with friends.

Best Asian bakery in town. If you want Asian style cakes and baked goods, there are no competitions near by.

This bakery is in Madison Heights a suburb of Detroit which has become a mecca for Vietnamese , Chinese, Filipino and Japanese restaurants, as well as Asian grocery stores. Here you will find a bubble tea menu and bins filled with baked goods. Basically you grab a tray and tongs and pick out what you want then bring it up to the counter and they will bag it up for you. I recommend trying anything with taro. It's a sweet potato and is wonderful in dessert form. I would also recommend trying a taro smoothie with bubbles. Another recommendation would be a lychee or jackfruit smoothie with bubbles. If your lactose intolerant they can make it without milk and use tea instead. The pork steam buns are great to pick up for breakfast in the morning or a midday snack. The guys that own it are a young and very friendly. If you need a recommendation on what to try , I' m sure they would be more than happy to give you one. Baked goods are less than a dollar and up. Smoothies are around $3.00 average price.

This bakery offers different types of buns - red bean, taro, custard, and pork. Each one is covered with dough so soft that it can melt in your mouth. They also offer cakes, pastries, and cookies. They are sold hot & fresh, you won't go wrong. They offer 1 free bun for every 12 that you buy. That's value for your money.
