Met new owners Sasha and Pamela who are friendly and welcoming. They’ve had Pereddies for about a month and are gradually transitioning things as they make it their own. The menu still has many of the old favorites, but they suggested we try the evening’s specials to sample their and chef Justin’s true work.
Keep that in mind when reading reviews... the older ones don’t really reflect what’s happening in the kitchen now.
Steak carpaccio appetizer (one of the specials) was unbelievable! The beef short rib (another special) was incredibly tender and flavorful, served with the same butternut squash purée that Susan V raves about in her review. I agree 100%!
Pollo Pompeii from the menu was also excellent. Pasta was the perfect texture, great flavor, exactly the right amount of sauce.
Very attentive service and I can’t overemphasize the feeling that Sasha treats the diners as his guests. Good things are happening here, we can’t wait to return!
