on november 2nd I had booked a room for 3 nights for march 2018, via booking.com. of course, no payment needed, just a card to confirm and hold the deposit in case of late cancelation.
on november 10th I receive a notification from my credit card: full amount debited, plus an email from the hotel, telling me that in case of cancelation they would retain 15 USD.
I was furious, they debited me the wrong amount, so I replied explaining that this was not the deal, I immediately cancel the reservation via booking.com and write to them to complain about this and asking for a full refund.
well, after a week, no refund issued, and no email nor text to justify this pathetic behavior.
I was very glad to follow advice on tripadvisor and spend a 3 nights' stay there but now, even if I had to camp, would not even go there for free.
