Not the largest place but they have excellent exhibits and hands on activities for the kids. I was surprised at how engaged my boys were. Definitely worth the time. Cost is reasonable
I took my five year old niece and two year old nephew. They had a blast and totally engaged. However, the other children weren't as closely supervised as I would have liked and this resulted in limited sharing of items in the kitchen and restaurant.
What a great place to take the kids on a rainy day!! they had a blast climbing the rock wall, playing in all of the different rooms.
We have taken all our grandsons to the museum and they are always exicited to return again and again. The museum provides many different types of experience for all ages. Grat outing for everyone of all ages.
I took my 10-year old and 8-year old. They were a little too old for the museum. Try to catch the free Saturdays! Go outside in the courtyard when weather permits. I took my girl scout troop too! My daughters actually loved the grocery shop.
My family and I spent the afternoon at the Children's Museum in Flint. We went on the Saturday before Easter. My two grandchildren, ages 5 and 3 were with us. They both were entertained for
over 2 hours. The displays covered many areas as Math, Science and Drama. They went back to many of the areas to continue their exploration. There was a group that had a display about eyes.
They were a group of college students that had a information booth and also talked to the children
in the museum and offered them some vision related items to take home. The staff was very
friendly and willing to answer questions that we might have. I would definitely take my grandchildren there again.
