Based on reviews the rooms must vary quite a lot in size. Our was average sized but clean and tidy. If anything a little too much furniture. She shower room was big and very nice. Everything was spotlessly clean.
The view was over the railway station. Fortunately all the trains are electric and there was minimal night time movement so wasn't too noisy. For all the front rooms will offer a fabulous view would suggest the close by main road will offer some night noise.
The hotel has character and the front terrace is very inviting with a marvellous view over the lake and snow topped mountains behind.
The is a very plesant swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
My main gripe is with the dining room. It caters for a lot of coach parties and tables are arranging school diing room style in long rows close together with big wide armed chairs making it something of an exercise to get in and out of the chairs. At one meal I had to climb onto my seat to step over the arm rest to get out. Too crowded. The buffet food was pretty good. Good choices and kept filled up.More
