This restaurant is a real find. A small, cozy dining room with a creative Northern Italian menu. The food tastes so good. The choices are small in number but there is still sufficient choices. The ragu of rabbit with black truffle sauce was fantastic! Great service. Pricey, but worth it. A great restaurant.

Don't be off put by the unassuming location and outside. Its easy to drive on by. Inside is some of the best Italian food in the Detroit area

Having just come back from a week and a half in Italy for a brief time Due Venti transported us back.

Italian food is all about a few, high quality ingredients combined for maximum flavor. All the ingredients at Due Venti come from small producers both local and imported. You can tell the pasta and bread are hand made and fresh.

My wife and I and an out of town friend really enjoyed a great diner. Even though the menu is short (to maximize the ingredient value) it was difficult to pare the choices down as they all sounded delicious. We found the portions were very appropriate for the prices

We started with splitting some perfectly prepared calamari with a wine, tomato sauce. The sauce included capers, pine nuts and raisons. It was fantastic. All the flavors melded together perfectly. The portion was a good size to split.

We enjoyed a bottle of wine and prosecco with our dinner. They had a reasonable selection of wines both by the bottle and glass as well as a full bar.

Dinner included an Otto farm chicken with an orange, balsamic reduction. Perfectly cooked. The Chilean sea bass encrusted with pistachios was also perfectly cooked and delicious. The rabbit ragu with fennel, carrots and raisins was fantastic. Melt in your mouth pasta and a hint of truffle

We ended the evening passing around the gelato, also house made. Can you even imagine how a caramel fennel gelato topped with a smoked sea salt wa. It was unbelievable

The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The dining room is small but our table was quiet. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is accommodating

It had been a couple years since we had been to Due Venti. We had forgotten how good it was so It wont be as long for the next time. Even with all the great new restaurants in the area this will become more of a staple for us.

The title of my review pretty much sums it up. Very good service and knowledgeable staff. Quite a limited menu but understandable with such a small venue. That being said the menu was diverse enough that anyone could find someone something that they like. For the six people in our crowd we had the pork chop (2) the rabbit Ragu, the Seabass, the gnocchi, and the chicken breast. We pretty much tried the entire menu and everyone loved their entrée. Very nice evening, glad we went, but probably won't be back.

Our friend was celebrating his 79th birthday and this was an exquisite evening. Andrew, our waiter showed extreme patience and graciousness. The beets and sea bass were absolutely wonderful. The evening could not have been better.
