Stayed in two bedroom condo the night prior to the Michigan High School Regional Ski Race at Boyne Mountain. We received military discount upon check-out. We had 3 couples in our party and were very comfortable in the condo. Snow conditions were great for skiing; good venue for regional race.

Room Tip: Condos require a bit of hike to the ski hill

We visited for two nights from the UK, staying with friends based in MI in a 3 bed condo. We brought along five novice skiers aged between 4 and 10 and we left with confident downhillers! Having visited Breckenridge and Whistler we weren't sure what to expect but we were bowled over by the facilities, helpfulness of the staff and ease of access. It was perfect for us and had a great atmosphere. And having not skied for over ten years it was not at all intimidating and the staff were very knowledgable and helpful. Would have stayed a few more days if time allowed and will gladly return as it was so comfortable and accommodating.

Have come to appreciate the effort Boyne puts into the total guest experience. For. Working wifi all over, to multiple restaurant/bar options, fire pits, water park, rewards program, skating rinks, zip line, comfortable seating areas and lodging... Boyne really feels like a complete resort rather than just a ski hill.

Being a parent of teenagers and not skiing everyday myself, it is nice to have decent options for the non-skier.

Can't comment on the lodging, but It appeals they have newer and older options onsite. Some pretty pricey for what you get.

Overall, it comes about as close as you can get to a small ski village feel around here.

Ski hills are decent but 1/2 of the hills (intermediate section) are impossible to get to due to slow lifts and little kids fro ski schools on the lifts causing very slow access. Snowboard options are just ok and seem like an afterthought.

You come to Boyne for the total ski atmosphere - not just the skiing (which is still as good or better than the local competition). Some people avoid Boyne as it can come off as a bit stuffy (for no good reason) but I have not had that experience here. On site are good and service is also good. This is becoming my go to ski spot due to the total experience they provide.

I received a $15 military discount when I went snowboarding on Saturday, Feb 13. I enjoyed the free shuttle service from the parking lot to the main entrance area. The shuttle came frequently so I did not wait long. Most of the trails and lifts were open. Friendly and helpful staff. I did not eat at any of the restaurants. I ate from Happy's Taco Truck and it was fantastic!

We enjoy staying at Boyne Mtn for a nice weekend getaway. It is not overly fancy, but we're not staying there because of the room. We go to enjoy all the outdoor activities. The room is clean and good enough. Walls are a bit thin, but since we spend such little time in the room, it doesn't really matter much. We like going to the outdoor pool, which was still a little too cool for my liking, but the kids enjoyed it. The outdoor hot tub felt good. There are plenty of towels available to use also. Staff was all very nice.
