There is no better word to describe this house and its owner than gracious. The shared areas are lovely, there is a small garden and a porch, and the rooms are totally quiet. Debbie offers snacks all day plus very special bites before dinner.
I want to say a word about the bedrooms. They are each very different and they are each truly special..Good chairs, proper lighting, lush towels, etc. add comfort to the thoughtful design of fabric, color, texture, etc. Our room left us feeling completely pampered.
We stayed one night & will look for opportunities to revisit (easy access from I-75). Definitely worth the detour if you are anywhere near Bay City.

This was our first time in Bay City, and we couldn't have done better than staying at the Historic Webster House. Debbie was a gracious and helpful host. The restoration was amazing, and our room was spacious and well-appointed. There was lots of common area for the guests to share, including the beautiful garden. We loved the food – not only wonderful breakfasts served in the dining room, but creative and delicious appetizers served with wine in the afternoon. Debbie was very accommodating with our dietary restrictions, and also with our schedule for an early breakfast before departing for the airport. We really appreciated that. We have stayed at many B & Bs throughout the country, and this definitely ranks high on the list!

This is an excellent historic inn/B&B. Nicely restored with beautiful decor, great breakfasts, quiet, and in walking distance to the historic downtown restaurants and shops. Very friendly staff. Nice extra touches like cookies and happy hour.

If you like bed and breakfasts, you will love this place. We booked last minute and were able to reserve the Signature room. Our room, like the entire house, is exquisitely restored and gorgeous. Debby, the owner, who cheerfully took our reservations as we were driving, met us at the door for registration and showed us to our room. We arrived in time to enjoy the wine and appetizers (and cookies) that were prepared for the guests. Our room was beautiful, but oh, the bed! The feather top and the luxurious sheets were amazing. Breakfast (with mimosas) was outstanding. Lots of restaurants nearby, with recommendations from Debby as to which ones to try. One of the top B&Bs we have ever stayed at. Sad that we only stayed one night. Didn’t see the other rooms, but we plan to return and try another one!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this historic home. After Angel greeted us warmly and provided an informative tour of the house, we were guided to our room on the third floor. We were pleasantly surprised to see a "Happy Anniversary" cake for two, complete with plates, forks, and napkins! Tastefully appointed, our room was super clean and lit with soft natural light via sky lights. The bed was dressed in highend linens and was cozy. Plush towels and robes were provided. Beverages such as coffee, tea, wine, soda and water were conveniently located on every floor, and happy hour included tasty appetizers and house red and white wines. After asking about our personal tastes, Angel made recommendations for dinner, which we gladly accepted. Breakfast was superb! Fresh fruit with a cinnamon cream sauce, crustless quiche, sausages, and a mimosa! My husband and I have stayed at several other B&B's and we believe the Historic Webster House, while not the priciest, is the best of them all. Thanks for a wonderful get-away! Looking forward to visiting again, Kathy and Mark - Troy, Michigan
