The outside of the hotel is more than time and weather worn. To say it is run down, is an understatement.
Once inside things were no better. The lighting was poor, the carpets old and dirty and the furniture was very old.
At the front desk the clerk was "surly" at best. She did not make eye contact, look up or acknowledge us when we approached the desk. When I spoke to her she sort of grunted a response. She did check us in without a problem.
We got into our room which was a jacuzzi room and found that the jacuzzi only had hot water which made it impossible to use. We called the front desk and she helped us get a new room. Only standard rooms were left. She did bring the new key to us and stated something along the lines of, no one has had problems with the jacuzzi before. She indicated that there was no maintenance available to look at it. She did apologize for the inconvenience.
We moved to the new room and the rug was very dirty and the room didn't seem clean.
The hotel restaurant took 40 minutes to get us our meal of a salad and hamburger. The dining room had only two other groups in it. The seat of the booth where my husband was sitting was ripped and uncomfortable to sit on.
I don't think we will be back there to stay again.
