We really appreciate your having reported positive feedback following your stay at the Williamstown Motel. I would like to clarify one thing though to our viewers (guests) that we have only few & limited "Pet friendly" designated rooms and not all of them. So people who do not have pets or who are allergic to pets, need not worry because they will be assigned Non Pet friendly rooms.
We thank you for supporting our small, family-run business and we look forward to welcoming you again!
We spent two nights here in mid-August. Rate was different for Saturday and Sunday nights. Room had two beds, desk, microwave, frig, coffee maker, and hairdryer. There were two luggage racks unlike most places that only offer one. It was nice to have both suitcases off the floor! Free WiFi worked well.
The bathroom was quite small with no counter space. There were wall shelves where personal items could be kept. The sink was odd-shaped—attractive but impractical. It did not drain well. Towels were large and fluffy.
There was a higher than usual step up into the room from the outside. Care should be taken when going in and out of the room.
Coffee for the coffee maker was not replaced by housekeeping after our first night. Luckily, my husband carries travel packets, so he was satisfied until breakfast began at 7:30am. It included yogurt, cereal, fruit, sweet rolls, bagels, and similar items. Perfectly adequate to start a person’s morning.
The bedroom and bathroom were clean, except for the shower with black mold in the grout. We were out early in the morning for a race; so no time for shower. I would not have been comfortable taking a shower. There was also a lot of dust in the air conditioner and it was noisy. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. Tv worked well. Wifi was weak and consistently went out, which was unfortunate. . Breakfast was breads, cereal, bananas and packaged pastries along with tea and coffee. The breakfast area was neat and clean. Upon check in, the owner greeted you with two complimentary bottles of water, which was very nice. All in all, our stay was fine, but with a bit of TLC, it could definitely be nicer. Location is great.
Stayed here the night before section hiking on the Appalachian Trail. It is a traditional style motel. The accomodations are very good and in spotless condition. Good breakfast selections.. Very friendly and helpful owner
The manager is friendly and helpful at this 40 year old motel that seems not to have been updated since it was built. Our room was small tho it did have an ironing board, microwave and mini fridge. The bathroom water pressure was good with nice hot water. The WiFi worked well. The bed was not the most comfortable I have ever had but the good reading light was a plus.
The room and bathroom were extremely clean, except for the shower with extensive black mold in and beside the grout. We only stayed 1 night, so skipped showering. There was also a lot of dust in the air conditioner. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were chairs. Tv worked very well. Wifi was weak and spotty. Breakfast was so limited, with many items made from refined white flour, that we opted to eat elsewhere, which was easy to do since there were several options nearby. We did hear some noise overnight from passing trucks and even one train (far enough away to be charming), but slept well. Room remained dark after dawn due to thick drapes. Room had 2 queens, mini fridge that worked well, untried microwave, and coffeemaker. All in all, a great deal for the price.
