Only good thing I can say about our room was that it was clean and the price was great! $65 for a Saturday!
Bathroom was very outdated and the toilet was so low to the floor.
Scuff marks all over the walls.
Microwave and fridge smelled so much of disinfectant that I wouldn't use it as I was worried about the smell seeping into the food.
Coffee maker was disgusting!
One bed was wobbly due to a bent front leg on the metal frame.
Sheets were clean!
Check in/out desk was cluttered and layered in dust (gross)
No fresh fruit or creamer for coffee.
Great restaurant up the road called Moonlight Diner...good food and prices!
Doubt I would stay here again.

Room tip: not sure you could choose a good room..

Stains throughout room carpeting, chair & window drapes. Coffee brewer was so disgusting, that owner thru it out when I show it to him. Breakfast in tiny reception area was so limited, you would be better off eating at a local restaurant.
Owners were nice, but need a course in how to run a motel. Bad PR can ruin a business!

This is our 3rd time to stay for a week in Dec & there is a reason for that. This place is CLEAN and comfortable. The train does go by a half dozen times throughout the day & night but you really do get used to it The location is convenient to not only williamstown & Bennington but also Jimney peak for skiing if that's your desire. The hotel had muffins & bagels w/cream cheese for breakfast & rooms come with a small refrig & microwave. It is not a luxury resort but the owners are welcoming, service is prompt when requesting towels & we will definately be back & absolutely recommend it to others

We got to the hotel to find out that they didn't have the room that we booked available and at almost 10 pm the first option offered was that we looked for another hotel.
We got a room with two double beds instead of the king bed we had paid for. Room was ok-ish, breakfast poor and staff was not very helpful.

Great location for being close to Williamstown or going to Vermont. It's a simple, kind-of- retro motel which includes a light breakfast. I go every year and enjoy the ambience. The new owners are updating alittle but keeping the quaint essence. Great value for the area and I very much recommend it. It's a fun experience!
