We stayed at this hotel and immediately noticed our room shared a common door to next room. Even though it was closed and locked, we could hear every sound and noise in room next door. Very loud voices at very late hours.
Also room did not even have a chair to sit on. Only place to sit was on the bed.
Old, outdated and terrible- don’t waste your money!!!!

The staff here works very hard to make each guests stay a pleasant one. We are glad your stay here with us was enjoyable. We hope to see you again in the future.

I picked this motel due to a relatively high rating (8.2) on Bookings.com and was disappointed. I should've trusted Tripadvisor that rates it #14 of 21 hotels in Yarmouth.
This is a bare-bone motel despite the word "resort" in the name, and it is not especially cheap (at the time of booking I've seen other two star motels in the area for 2/3 of the price of Parkers). The motel consists of 3 rows of single story cabin-like barracks. The room was clean, but looked very old except for beds, which were fairly good.
Some reviews praise the location – I’m not sure why. It is not close enough to the beach to walk there – at least, if you want to get to the long and nice Seagull beach, - so you’d drive anyway. The motel is located right on Rt.28, which means traffic noise during the night - unless you close the window (BTW we had a unit that is farthest away from the road). But if you close the window you need to turn on the A/C, which is an old and very noisy window unit. Because of this window a/c you can’t open the back window and take advantage of the natural air breeze. This was the case when no A/C would be better than bad A/C.
The room had a small kitchenette at the entrance, that has a microwave, a coffeemaker and a fridge, but that is all that it has – don’t count on finding any caps, utensils, dishes, coffee filters – there is nothing at all. I wished the website warned about this; the words “kitchenette” in context of “resort” raise the expectations to find at least a bare minimum of equipment. If we knew there is nothing, we’d put a few of these things in the car.
The proprietor was quite friendly, although we didn’t ask for anything special.
Ah, and the breakfast! There is no actual breakfast area, just a little counter at the reception that had a coffee dispenser, 3 kinds of Walmart-looking cookies and the cheapest brand of apple juice. That’s basically, all. It would be better not to mention this as “breakfast” on the website; after all there are plenty of places to eat in the area, so it just raises wrong expectations.
BTW wi-fi works near the reception, but didn't work in our room.

This resort/hotel is a scam. They promised a breakfast and look at the picture, it was more like a hilton hotel snack thingy. In reality the beds are comfortable, but the rooms are congested, the showers typical and the AC loud as hell, even with ear plugs. The location is also really annoying, it's close to the be ach by car, but far away from the bike trail. It was like a 30 minute bike trip just to the start of the trail and I almost got hit by a car a couple times.

Me and my new bride visited the Cape this summer, we had the privilege of staying at Parkers River Resort during our trip. The room was clean, and came with all of the amenities we were expecting. The pool was large and clean. There was also a large fenced yard area for relaxing. The location was perfect to for visiting the Cape and within quick driving distance of many restaurants and attractions and beaches. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
