Nice historical home; welcoming and helpful hosts. Really good breakfasts. We hadn't been to the Berkshires before and our hosts provided lots of good suggestions as well as interesting history of the area.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the back have nicer view of th grounds; front rooms get more light but face the street.

We had an amazing weekend in the Berkshires at Staveleigh House. The room was great and the breakfast was amazing each day. Mike and Chris were great hosts and know the area very well, and gave great recommendations for restaurants, hikes, and ice cream shops!

The innkeepers are sweet and helpful, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast of Nutella and freshstrawberry stuffed French toast with fresh fruit on the side. We stayed in 1 of the 2 pet friendly rooms. They have a nice fenced in grassy dog run that our dog really enjoyed. We hiked during our trip so the dog was with us 80% of the time & stayed in her crate if alone in the room. We would definitely stay again: lovely spot for a quiet weekend!

This has been my best stay in the Berkshires in the past 4 years. I just wish I found this place sooner. The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby. The breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast room was so nice and clean. The hosts were lovely and clearly take pride in their work.

The Staveleigh B&B is located in a quaint little town, close to many antique shops, Tanglewood Music Center, unique stores, restaurants, skiing, and more. The innkeepers, Chris and Mike, are kind, accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and its rich history.
We stayed in Room 7, on the first floor, with a private entrance, fireplace, and en-suite bathroom. The room was spacious and very comfortable. All the windows had lovely shades and lace curtains, and there were lamps to provide plenty of lighting. The comfortable bed had crisp linens and soft, warm blankets. Soap and shampoo were provided, and the towels were fluffy and soft. Everything was meticulously neat and clean.
Breakfast was served in the cheery dining room. The tables were set to welcome us in the morning. The coffee was delicious and hot; we were offered our choice of juice, and tea was also available. Our meal started with a baked apple with raisins, a bit of whipped cream, and a few tiny red candies that made the dish look scrumptious - and it was! Then came delicious muffins and a country omelet made with fresh eggs and bits of vegetables and ham, with sliced grape tomatoes on the side. The meal was so delicious and expertly presented!
We look forward to returning to the Staveleigh House!
