This is a GREAT pizza place! Loved the wood-fire pizzas. Great crust, creative pizza topping offerings. Gourmet treats, wines, pantry items, etc. If you need a hand painted sugar cookie for any occassion *baby shower, wedding, birthday etc) ... this is the place. You order at the counter and go outside to the garden patio to await your order. Grab your own paper plates and napkins.

We've lived in Sandwich for a while now, and we never knew that some of the best pizza we've ever eaten could be found in our own backyard. The Brown Jug is a little specialty shop in the heart of Sandwich. It has a lovely selection of wines, cheeses, and even bread from Iggy's in Boston (be still, my heart). But oh, the pizza!

The crust is thin and crunchy. Their selection is wonderful: from a delicious prosciutto and fig to an amazing veggie (with sliced beets that were a tasty surprise). Their gluten-free pizza is also delicious.

But even better than the absolutely mouth-watering pizzas is the kindness of the owner. We were picking up our order after driving back to the Cape from Logan Airport in Boston. We had heavy traffic in pouring rain and would arrive back in Sandwich past the Jug's closing time. Lucky for us, they had so many pizza orders that they were staying open later. Sadly, they had in fact closed when we finally arrived--BUT the owner had prepared our order and waited for us!

Go: the pizza is fabulous, and you'll no doubt pick up a nice bottle of wine to go with it.

I almost don't want to review this place so that I can always get a seat when I go. Great beers, friendly service and great pizzas. A place I'll go to the Cape for.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. Found a great selection of sandwiches and take out items. We did not try the pizza but it smelled great. The young ladies that work here really do a great job. Don't forget to tip them!

We had some of the pre-made sandwiches and soft drinks. The highlight was sitting on the patio for some fresh air and sunshine after many rainy days. Sandwiches were good, service was friendly. I would like a longer visit and to try the pizza if I'm in the area again.
