Folks were lined up for the ice cream, and all has praise for that, but we needed FOOD. The chowder did not disappoint; crabcakes were more like hush puppies, but tasty nonetheless. Counter waitstaff were delightful.

Don’t come here if you like store brand ice cream. Once you try the ice cream you will never want to buy store bought ice cream ever! The flavors: To die for
The portion: Big!
You haven’t had ice cream until you’ve tried Uncle Ed’s.

Uncle Ed's has delicious home make ice cream. The servings are huge and the flavors are inviting. The little house is quaint and decorative. The fish and chips on weekends is excellent. The fish is mildly fried and very tasty. Food is served hot and always fresh. Little inside seating, but well worth it. "Uncle Ed" is frequently visiting tables offering samples to his guests. He will sit with you and listen to your comments. Highly recommended!
