We spent our honeymoon in Ptown, and some of our best memories of our visit to that magical town were our meals--both breakfast and dinner--at Devons. The food is local with a flair that struck us unique, the service (Hi, Scott!) was phenomenal, and its setting truly evokes the laid back feel of the town. Hats off to the chef Richard! You are a star! Thanks for hosting us!

Devon'st is a place I feel comfortable eating alone or with friends. It's small and low key, and a pleasure for breakfast and dinner. Sit outside if you can, people are strolling heading to the Galleries in the East End. Their organic chicken liver pate is delicious, and great with a nice glass of red wine! Their breakfast is out of this world- Eggs scrambled with carmelized onions and Brie- wow! A wonderful experience every time.

We visited Devon's for an early-ish dinner (6:30 on a Saturday) with two friends who are not vegans. Devon's is right on Commercial Street and is very small, but not cramped feeling. When we arrived there was not another person there. The inside is stylishly casual, gray and black with small tables and fairly comfortable seats and benches. It was fine for us but it would be a challenge for someone needing assistance or perhaps a very large person.
Devon's is not a vegan, or even a vegetarian, restaurant, but they had two appetizers and two entrees that were vegan. The rest of the menu, not surprisingly, focuses on fresh seafood and local ingredients. We had the Quinoa Cake app and the Yellow Curry entree. They were both exceptional - perfectly prepared, nicely presented and delicious (but smaller than our appetites ).
It is a little pricey, but absolutely in line with Commercial Street prices. The service was very good. Food arrived quickly and waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. An excellent option for the vegan traveler looking for creative, delicious vegan food.

Have been here before, many times, and its worth further review. SO many places come and go, but here they have been true to themselves and their patrons. a very simple menu, food that is clearly fresh and creative and service to match that is knowledgeable and unpretentious. This is serious simple food. The place is small which makes it wonderful for a 'date night'. Well made cocktails and a good wine list make this a must for every trip.
My only whine would be at other guests, we don't need to know your life story/claim to fame/who you bank with/ when you are sitting 20 feet away next time I think I'll just ask the waiter to give the offender a smack on the ear and tell them to behave themselves.
